What’s your name and how did you get started?
My name's Anne Evans and I first got started doing makeup many years ago. I had just graduated from Texas Tech University and didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, so I applied to several companies, one of which was Mac Cosmetics and they happened to be opening a location in my hometown. So I got the job as a retail manager and I opened the Mac in Amarillo, Texas and ran that location for about seven and a half years before I moved to DFW.
What’s your favorite thing about doing hair and makeup?
I love so many elements that come with doing makeup, one of which is really just empowering people to feel their absolute best and build their own confidence, but also being a part of some people's most special moments in life and days is really exciting.
Fun fact about you?
One fun fact about me is that I am low key, hilarious. You may not know it at first meeting me, but I am guaranteed to make you laugh while I make you look beautiful.
Favorite product you can’t live without?
My go-to product has to be blush. It's the number one product I keep at home and in my kit, any color of blush will do. It's the one product that makes you look youthful and vibrant and just makes you look so fresh.
