What’s your name, and how did you get started doing make-up?
“Hi, my name is Destiny. I got started doing makeup during the summer. I was in college and I started Brite as a summer job, and then it turned into a whole career. So now I help with social media. I am on the admin team, and then I also am a pro-makeup artist.”
What’s your favorite thing about doing hair and makeup?
Everything about doing makeup is always the reactions that I get after. I love making women feel beautiful. There's no other feeling like it, and it's such a special thing, and I'm so happy I get to do it.
What is your favorite memory with Brite Beauty?
“A favorite memory I have of working at Brite is last winter. We got to decorate the studio and turn it into a little winter wonderland, and it was so special getting to do it with my favorite coworkers. So yes, that is one of my favorites.”
Fun fact about you?
“Fun fact about me is I actually went to Texas a and m for marine biology. Of course, you'd never guess by what I do now, but yep. I was a former STEM major.”
Favorite product you can’t live without?
“A product I can't live without in my kit is the Mehron Skin Prep Pro Glowy edition. So it's a hyaluronic acid serum and it makes the skin super glowy no matter what skin I put it on, the makeup is going to be so glowy and smooth.”
